The Mini V5 cube assembly offers a wide range of mechatronic and automation procedures
in an incredibly small space. Its small footprint, combined with its exceptional
price-performance ratio, make this mechatronic system an ideal entry-level model.
Two slotted plates made of anodised aluminium profile house the following five mechatronic
assemblies: Maintenance unit, operator panel, press, handling unit and ASRS. When
working through the intended process, complete cubes are produced from two halves.
The cube halves are used as a starting material and are stored in the two lower
levels of the automatic storage and retrieval system. The magazine unit takes the
cube halves out and delivers them to the handling unit which transports them to
the press. The lower and upper cube halves are assembled in the press. The handling
unit then takes the finished cube out of the press and transports it to the automatic
storage and retrieval system. There the magazine unit takes the cube and stores
it in the two top shelf levels.
